Race / Club Background: Waimanalo Canoe Club welcomes everyone to the beautiful East Side. In true Waimanalo Canoe Club fashion, the regatta will include live entertainment and an exciting race course. Waimanalo Canoe Club will provide great entertainment, Live Music, Hula Halau, Arts & Crafts, Food booths, and the best Koa Wa’a racing in God’s Country all day for everyone from 8-80 years young. Waimanalo Regatta this coming Sunday. Tent set up, snacks & potluck as follows.
OPEN MEN/NOVICE MEN ~ Tent set up at Waimanalo on Saturday, please see your coaches to arrange a meeting time.
OPEN WOMEN/NOVICE WOMEN ~ Light snacks/meal for Sunday. Fruits, sandwiches, veggies... nothing heavy. Fill up water jugs, bring paper goods & rubbish bags. FYI - Please do not bring any Potato Chips or Oranges, I will bring leftovers from this past Sunday’s race.
After the race is done, ALL paddlers breakdown tents, load Tarita, and please take all your personal belongings and be sure the area is clean. Coach Byron will trailer Tarita back to the Ala Wai after the race is done. Stand by for more details on that. Club announcements from Kristi/Coaches at the potluck.
